It was in this time of the year in 2006 that two young budding engineers’ bit by the entrepreneurial bug decided to plunge in the business of engineering design services. Prashant Kundap & Anand Kutre bid adieu to their jobs in Germany & USA respectively and decided to head straight to India to build an organization that lay emphasis on not just doing run-of-the-mill design, but being an active participant in design & development of projects that gave immense satisfaction to the customers and as well engineers’ at AUGEN.

AUGEN, means “eyes”- to look beyond the horizon, not be just a cog in the wheel, but provide solutions end-to-end. Today, we are a single window to several customers in the areas of concept design, product design, validation, prototyping and series production as well.

On this occasion Mr. Prashant Kundap, Managing Director says, “First I would like to thank the Augen Team and everyone associated, for supporting us and giving the necessary impetus to maintain strict quality & standards that has now lead to AUGEN being a name to reckon in the industry.” He continues to say that, “Customers nearly from all parts of the world also showed eagerness to give us work and some of the customers are now our partners.”

“These two years have been momentous for us since we have been able to achieve our plans of building a world-class infrastructure that can now house nearly 400 engineers in Bangalore and systems & processes that are similar to any high-tech company in the world”, says Mr. Anand Kutre CEO.

Going forward, AUGEN has now set its site on the growing demand for complete solutions in the areas of Automotive & Aerospace industries while it continues to find niche services in the areas of Marine, Energy and IT.

At the beginning of the third year of the company, CEO and MD reiterate the commitment towards their vision of creating a company that is fun to work for employees and dependable for customers.

AUGEN Technologies Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Company based in Bangalore was established in August 2006. It provides engineering design services in the areas of Automotive, Aerospace, Energy, Marine and IT. It is an ISO 9001-2001 certified organization with 160 employees and having offices in Detroit, Paris, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Shanghai & Bangalore.
