Augen Technologies
recently expanded its engineering services operations by
setting up a new state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (COE)
at HMG Ambassador in Bangalore, where it will undertake
cutting-edge Design and Development activities for Automotive
& Aerospace Product Design. Augen's COE will help
customers worldwide in delivering value added engineering
solutions. The new Centre of Excellence (COE) was
inaugurated by Mr. Prashant Kundap, MD, Augen Technologies,
Bangalore.
The new design centre is spread over an area of
14,000 square feet, housing about 400 engineers, is a key
milestone with the inauguration of the brand new facility.
Inaugurating the new facility, Mr. Prashant Kundap said,
"Building on the excellent talent, we have created an
intellectual powerhouse and Centre of Excellence here in
India. In the past two years, we have made cumulative
investments in our India Product Design and Development
capabilities. Our teams here are developing products that
provide customers worldwide with leading edge technology and
value."
Mr Anand Kutre, CEO and head of design centre,
said, "We are embracing and driving a collaborative innovation
model, partnering with leading companies to drive standards
across key technologies that will reduce complexity and help
simplify the complexity of product development environment of
our customers.
Currently the centre is working on complete
Automotive Interiors which involves in Engineering from
concept to final production. Leveraging deep expertise in
engineering services, Augen enables its customers to achieve
business transformation and sustainable business value to
improve their business
performance.
